Pre-Booking Consultation

I want to know your vision for our photo session, so if you would like we can spend some time via zoom, phone, or email so I can understand what you are looking for in a photographer, as well as any details about the event.

Photo Packages Available:

Choose which proposal photo package is right for your vision. I also understand that every event is unique, so if you are envisioning an event outside of a traditional model, I’d be happy to customize packages to meet your unique needs and preferences.

Collaboration:

I want to make sure you receive the photos you want, taken in the way you want them to. If you are someone who wants direction, I will happily guide you through poses and movements. If you prefer to not pose, I will position myself throughout the event to capture candid, authentic moments. My goal is to prepare myself as much as I can before the event without causing you any unnecessary stress or extra work.

Step-by-Step Guide To Booking Process

  • To begin the process, please fill out the form on my contact page or write me an email. Please include tentative event date, general guest count, and a little info about the two of you and your vision of the evening.

  • Upon receiving an inquiry from you, I will send over a price sheet detailing process and package information. If none of these packages are quite what you are looking for, I’d be happy to build a custom package based on your needs.

  • Once a standard or customized package has been chosen,I will send instructions on putting down a deposit to book the date of the event, as well as contracts for my services.

  • I have found it valuable for me to get to know my clients a little bit before their big day, so via zoom, phone, or in person, I’d like to chat with you about your vision for the event, as well as other needs or preferences you may have.

    If you prefer to have a consultation or a quick intro call anytime before this, I’d be happy to do so as well.

    There are many options in Kauai for family photographers but I was drawn to the artistic style of Ikaika. Even though we were located in the south shore and he is based in the north shore. He was accommodating to travel to us. In his portfolio, there were many candids as well as posted photos with great use of natural light. He was easily accessible by email and phone, and we really appreciated his flexibility in working with our schedule while trying to book a time that would work for all of us.
