Step-by-Step Guide To Booking Process

To begin the process, please fill out the form on my contact page or write me an email. Please include tentative event date, general guest count, and a little info about the two of you and your vision of the day.

Upon receiving an inquiry from you, I will send over a price sheet detailing process and package information. If none of these packages are quite what you are looking for, I’d be happy to build a custom package based on your needs.

Once a standard or customized package has been chosen,I will send instructions on putting down a deposit to book the date of the event, as well as contracts for my services.

I have found it extremely valuable for me to get to know my clients a little bit before their big day, so via zoom, phone, or in person, I’d like to chat with you about your vision for the event, as well as other needs or preferences you may have. We will also talk about shot lists and mood boards (if desired) so I can begin the process of building those for you to edit.
If you prefer to have a consultation or a quick intro call anytime before this, I’d be happy to do so as well.

I'm based in Hanalei and film all over the island, from North Shore beaches to South Shore resorts. I am also available for weddings on Oahu, Maui, and Big Island, as well as the continental US.

For events with less than 50 people, absolutely. Smaller events allow me to move fluidly during ceremony and other moments, so capturing both is definitely doable. For larger events, my partner and I will be your full media team on the day of the event.

A wedding ceremony video will be the same length as your actual ceremony, as there are no cuts involved. A highlight reel of the event varies, ranging from 3 to 7 minutes, depending on how long I am at the event.

Yes. Video works just as well for a quiet elopement for two as for a big wedding day, and coverage scales to fit.

Rain is normal in Kauai; showers usually pass quickly, leaving soft light and sometimes rainbows, and a little rain can make for beautiful, moody footage. I check the forecast, protect my camera and microphones with weather-ready gear, and if needed we can change the time or place to fit our schedules.

Pre-Wedding Consultation
I want to know your vision of the perfect wedding, so I would like to spend some time via zoom or phone to hear from you on what you are looking for in a videographer, as well as any details about the event.
Tailored Packages:
Every event is unique, so every package should also be unique. If you are envisioning an event outside of a traditional model, I’d be happy to customize packages to meet your unique needs and preferences.
Collaboration:
I want to make sure you receive the film you want, taken in the way you want it to. What I mean by that is if you are someone who wants direction, I will happily guide you through poses and movements. If you prefer to not pose, I will position myself throughout the event to capture candid, authentic moments. Before the event, I will work with you on shot lists, mood boards, or anything else to help me understand your vision. If you prefer I don’t create any of those things, that’s totally fine too :) My goal is to prepare myself as much as I can before the event without causing you any unnecessary stress or extra work.
