A Two-Location Maternity Session on Kauai’s North Shore

Can’t decide between two locations? Pick both! For this maternity session we planned two hours so we could start in Princeville, with its rocky shoreline and driftwood, and then finish in Haʻena, where the water meets the mountains.

In Princeville the ocean was calm and the light was golden, which left plenty of room for quiet portraits of mom-to-be in a red dress and flower crown, quiet moments together on the rocks, and a few moments with dad kneeling to kiss her belly.

In Haʻena we waded into the water with the mountains behind us and the sky turning pink and orange. Going to two places does take up time, but it can be totally worth it for a lot of different scenes in one session.
